Mix flour, baking powder, soda, and salt. Set aside. Beat butter and cream cheese on medium speed with an electric mixer until fluffy.

Step 1

Stir in sugar and strawberries. Stir in egg and vanilla. Lower the mixer speed. Add the flour mixture slowly, mixing just until combined or a few flour streaks remain.

Step 2

Mix in M&Ms and white chocolate chips. If desired, reserve some add-ins to top portioned cookies before baking.

Step 3

Cover and refrigerate dough for 1 hour or overnight. Heat the oven to 350°F. Cover baking sheets with parchment or silicone.

Step 4

Roll 2 tablespoons of dough into balls and place on prepared pans. Flatten each cookie to 1/2-inch height. Add any reserved cookie toppings now. Sprinkle jimmies or quins if desired.

Step 5

One pan at a time, bake the cookies for 12–15 minutes until lightly browned and set. Keep leftover dough refrigerated between baking batches.

Step 6

Place pans on wire racks. Add sprinkles now if desired. Transfer the cookies from the pan to a wire rack to finish cooling after 5 minutes.
