White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookies Recipe

White chocolate macadamia nut cookies are chewy bakery treats with crunchy macadamias and creamy white chocolate chips!


– 2 & 1/4 cups (270g) all-purpose flour – 1/2 teaspoon baking soda – 1/2 teaspoon salt – 3/4 cup (170g) unsalted butter, softened – 1 cup (200g)firmly packed light brown sugar – 1/3 cup (67g) granulated sugar – 1 large egg – 1 large egg yolk – 1 teaspoon vanilla extract – 1 cup (170g) white chocolate chips – 1 cup (120g) chopped macadamia nuts

Mix flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside. Beat butter, brown sugar, and sugar until fluffy with a medium-speed electric mixer.

Step 1 


Put the whole egg in, then the yolk. Mix in vanilla. Lower mixer speed. Add the flour mixture slowly, mixing just until combined or a few flour streaks remain.

Step 2

Add white chocolate chips and macadamia nuts. Cover and refrigerate dough for 1 hour. Heat the oven to 350°F. Cover baking sheets with parchment or silicone.

Step 3

Two-tablespoon portions of dough are dropped onto prepared pans. Lightly flatten cookie tops.

Step 4

The cookies should be golden brown after 15–18 minutes on each pan. Let the cookies cool for 5 minutes on wire racks. Transfer the cookies to a wire rack to finish cooling.
