Seven Layer Bars Recipe

Seven-layer bars are the easiest dessert! Sweetened condensed milk, coconut, chocolate chips, butterscotch, and nuts are layered on a buttery graham cracker base for chewy, crunchy, and decadent bars.

INGREDIENTS

– 1 & 1/2 cups (150g) graham cracher crumbs – 1/2 cup (113g) unsalted butter, melted – 14 ounces (397g) sweetened condensed milk – 1 cup (85g) sweetened shredded coconut – 1 cup (170g) semisweet chocolate chips – 1 cup (170g) butterscotch chips – 1 cup (120g) chopped nuts, such as pecans or walnuts

Heat the oven to 350°F. Lightly grease a 9" x 13" x 2" pan. If desired, line with parchment paper and lightly grease.

INSTRUCTIONS

Mix graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Press evenly into the pan bottom. Cover the crust with sweetened condensed milk.

Step 2

Top the milk with coconut, chocolate, butterscotch, and nuts. Apply pressure gently. Bake 20–25 minutes until bars are golden brown.

Step 3

Place the pan on a wire rack and cool the bars completely. Lift the bars from the pan onto a cutting board using the lining. Cutting into bars.
