Peanut Butter Blossoms are a popular cookie recipe that is easy to make and tastes great! A favorite from the past!
INGREDIENTS
– 1 & 1/4 cups (150g) all-purpose flour– 1/2 teaspoon baking powder– 1/2 teaspoon baking soda– 1/4 teaspoon salt– 1 cup (255g) creamy peanut butter– 1/2 cup (113g) unsalted butter, softened– 1/2 cup (100g) granulated sugar, plus more for rolling the cookies– 1/2 cup (100g) firmly packed light brown sugar– 1 large egg– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract– 36 chocolate kiss candies
Mix flour, baking powder, soda, and salt. Set aside. Beat peanut butter, butter, sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy with a medium-speed electric mixer.

Add egg and vanilla, mix well. Lower the mixer speed. Add flour mixture slowly, mixing just until combined. Cover and chill dough for 1 hour.
Step 2
Heat the oven to 350°F. Cover baking sheets with parchment or silicone. Put a few tablespoons of granulated or coarse sugar in a shallow bowl.
Step 3
I use a #50 scoop to scoop 1 1/2-tablespoon dough. Coat dough balls in sugar. Place dough balls on prepared pans and slightly flatten tops. Place cookies 2 inches apart on the pan.
Step 4
Bake cookies one pan at a time for 12–15 minutes until golden brown. Refrigerate leftover dough between batches.
Step 5
Cool cookies on pans on wire racks for 10 minutes. Gently press a chocolate kiss into the center of each cookie. Cool the cookies on a wire rack after removing them from the pan.
