These cookies are soft and chewy, and they have a lovely flavor! Maple Ginger Cookies!
INGREDIENTS
– 2 & 1/4 cups (270g) all-purpose flour– 1 teaspoon baking soda– 1 teaspoon ground ginger– 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon– 1/2 teaspoon salt– 3/4 cup (170g) unsalted butter, melted and slightly cooled– 1 cup (200g) firmly packed light brown sugar– 1 large egg– 1/4 cup (59ml) maple syrup– turbinado sugar, for garnish (optional)
Baking soda, salt, ginger, cinnamon, and flour should all be mixed together with a whisk. Put away.
Step 1
INSTRUCTIONS
With an electric mixer set to medium speed, mix the cooled butter and brown sugar completely. Mix well after adding the egg and maple syrup.
Step 2
Turn down the mixer's speed. Slowly add the flour mixture and mix just until everything is mixed.
Step 3
Put the dough in the fridge for an hour with the lid on. Warm the oven up to 350°F. Put parchment paper or plastic liners on baking sheets to line them.
Step 4
Roll tablespoons of dough into balls. Place the cookies 2 inches apart on the pans. Flatten each cookie's top. You can top with turbinado sugar.
Step 5
Bake 12–15 minutes until golden brown. Cool the pans for 5 minutes on a metal rack. After that, remove the cookies from the pans and cool on a wire rack.
