Homemade Peach Cobbler Recipe

Homemade Peach Cobbler has a sweet biscuit topping and delightful peach filling. This simple treat goes well with a big scoop of ice cream!

– 1 cup (125 grams) all-purpose flour , spooned & leveled – 1/3 cup (65 grams) granulated sugar – 1 teaspoon baking powder – 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon – 1/4 teaspoon salt – 3 tablespoons (45 grams) cold unsalted butter , cubed into small piece – 1/3 cup + 1 tablespoon (95 ml) milk – Coarse sugar or granulated sugar , for sprinkling on top (optional)

In another basin, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. Cut cold cubed butter into dry ingredients with a pastry cutter or fork to produce pea-sized crumbs.

Step 1

Mix in milk just until incorporated. Scoop spoonfuls of biscuit mixture over peach filling. If desired, sprinkle coarse sugar or granulated sugar.

Bake the filling and topping till bubbling and golden brown, 40–45 minutes at 375°F (190°C). After baking, chill on a wire rack for 20–30 minutes before serving.
