Preheat oven to 350°F. Place 2–3 baking sheets in the fridge to chill.
Step 1
INSTRUCTIONS
Cream butter and sugar until fluffy with a stand mixer or hand mixer on medium speed. Stir in the egg and extracts.
Step 2
Add the flour and salt and mix until combined, scraping bowl sides as needed. Do not overmix. Follow the manufacturer's cookie press loading instructions.
Step 3
Lightly spray the press bottom with nonstick cooking spray. (No greasing baking sheets.)
Step 4
Remove chilled baking sheets from fridge. Release cookie dough onto the sheet by gently pressing and lifting the cookie press handle. (The cookies can be close but not touching.)
Step 5
As needed, refill and spray the press to press all the dough. Choose sprinkles for each cookie. Bake each pan for 8 minutes until the cookie edges are golden brown.
Step 6
After cooling to room temperature, remove the cookies from the baking sheet with a spatula.
